Tasia Bryson, Ph.D.
Postdoc @University of Massachusetts-Boston; Illinois LSAMP Alumnus
Tasia Bryson recently received her doctorate in Science Education at the Mallinson Institute of Science Education at Western Michigan University (WMU). Her research focuses on the impact of the advisor/advisee relationship among underrepresented students in science graduate programs. Currently, Tasia works as the STEM Project Specialist for Chicago State University, where she focuses on recruiting and retaining minority students majoring in undergraduate STEM programs. Additionally, she is the owner of Scientists That Elevate Me, LLC, which provides live presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and seminars to expose and engage students to various opportunities and careers in STEM. Tasia will begin her Post-Doc at the University of Massachusetts-Boston in June 2021.
