The New Student Loan Forgiveness Programs 101

There are several loan forgiveness programs for student loan borrowers with federal student loans that were added or revised in 2022. This includes student loan relief for public service workers, loan forgiveness for students who attended for-profit institutions, loan forgiveness for borrowers who make under $125K per year for individuals/$250K for married couples including recent graduates, and student loan relief for parents.
